Controller, Basics, Purpose of the Data Processing

We store and process personal data in compliance in accordance with the relevant data protection regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG). Controller within the meaning of the data protection laws and service provider in the sense of the Telemedia Act is:

First of all, your data is collected if you communicate it to us. This may, for example, involve data that you enter in a contact form or transmit to us in the course of an enquiry. As far as certain input fields are marked as "mandatory data", we collect with these fields the data necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or the execution of the desired measure. Of course, you can provide us with further data if you wish. Other data is automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit the website (please also read section 3).

Your personal data will only be processed for the fulfillment of the contract with you or the execution of the requested measures e.g. providing an offer, answering a contact request (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and for advertising purposes (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, please also refer to section 2). As soon as the personal data are no longer required to fulfill these purposes, they will be deleted. If statutory retention requirements exist, the data will be restricted until the expiration of the retention obligations and then deleted. Storage going beyond the statutory retention periods is possible if you have consented to this (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) or if the purpose of the storage has not yet ceased.

Advertising measures; especially e-mail newsletters

You may object to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes or withdraw your consent which you gave us in this respect at any time in each case with effect for the future in writing, by fax, by e-mail or by telephone without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic tariffs. This applies in particular in regard to e-mail newsletters, for example with information about our products and our services. We only send you e-mail newsletters if you gave us your consent or if we have legitimate interests (in particular for direct marketing purposes) pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. In the event you do no longer wish to receive such information, you can unsubscribe from our e-mail newsletter at any time with effect for the future either by pressing the link provided in each e-mail newsletter or by contacting us via the provided contact details.

Rights of the data subject

Under certain circumstances, you have the right to receive information free of charge about the personal data we have stored about you, to have inaccurate data corrected and to demand that your personal data is deleted or restricted with regard to its processing and transferring.

You can object to the use of the data for direct advertising purposes at any time with effect for the future; you can also object to the use of the data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR with effect for the future at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation, without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic tariffs.

In some cases, however, we may not be allowed to completely delete user data due to legal retention periods.

We would also like to draw your attention to your right to file a complaint with a data protection authority. The authority responsible for us is the "Landesbeauftragter für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg", Königstraße 10a, 70173 Stuttgart.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer. Most of the cookies we use are deleted from your hard drive after the browser session has ended (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your computer and enable us to recognize your computer during your next visit (so-called permanent cookies). Logs

By visiting our website the access data are stored on the server. These data include e.g. the type and version of the browser, the kind of the used operating system, the website previously visited, date and time of the server request as well as the client's file query (file name and URL). We use these data anonymously for statistical evaluations, whereby no assignment is made to the respective user.

Purpose of this data processing is to enable the availability and the correct presentation of our website on your device and to optimize our website. In that regard, we have legitimate interests. Legal basis for the processing of the personal data is Art. 6 (1). (f) GDPR as well as § 15 TMG.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, Kalifornien, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", which are text files saved on your computer to help the website analyse how visitors use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by a server run by Google in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the "EU US Privacy Shield" (can be found at www.privacyshield.gov/list under the search term "Google"). Privacy Shield is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the United States to ensure compliance with European privacy standards in the United States.

IP-anonymisation has been activated on this website, so Google will truncate the IP-address of users in European Union member states or in other states that are parties to the European Economic Area Agreement in advance. Only in exceptional cases the full IP-address is transmitted to and truncated on one of Google's servers in the United States.

On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, for the purpose of compiling reports on the website activities and rendering services to the website administrator with respect to website and Internet usage. In this case, pseudonymous user profiles can be created. The shortened IP-address transmitted by your browser within the context of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.
