»Big steps for small municipalities« – Ingmar Menzer at the »circular building« symposium

The new fire station in Straubenhardt is one of the first buildings in Germany to be built according to the cradle-to-cradle principle and as such is a pioneering project. Ingmar Menzer (wulf architekten) and Straubenhardt's mayor Helge Viehweg will present the project completed in 2022 at the symposium »Circular, sustainable planning and building in municipalities«. Under the heading »Big steps for small municipalities«, they will shed light on the special development process - from the idea to the political implementation to the structural realization. The conference is being organized by the LUBW Landesanstalt für Umwelt Baden-Wuerttemberg, which is also publishing a new practical guide to circular building. The all-day event is free of charge and is recognized by the Baden-Wuerttemberg Chamber of Architects as further education and training. Registration is possible until October 8 at the latest.
