adidas Factory Outlet

Landscape and movement are the catalysts of this design: a dynamically curved, compact building in the shape of a boomerang is fixed in place by a glowing core. This distinctly higher element, covered with fabric, pierces through the roof and functions as an advertising vehicle and a projection surface for open-air events.

A facade made of industrial glass enwraps the rounded, upward spiraling volume. The counterpart to this building structure is formed by the parking garage that seems to grow out of the topography and which surrounds a plaza with a facade of curved seating steps. Inside the factory outlet, the spatial dynamic continues, encouraging visitors to walk through the salesroom along a three-dimensional loop.
